Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 1, 2026. This policy describes how Adtunez collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Google Ads audit software.

1. Information we collect

When you sign up for Adtunez, we collect:

  • Account details: name, email address, company name, billing information
  • Google Ads data: campaign, ad group, keyword, product, and performance metrics — accessed via Google's official OAuth flow with read-only scope
  • Usage data: how you interact with the Adtunez dashboard, which audits you view, basic analytics

We do not collect or store your Google account password. Authentication runs through Google's OAuth and we receive a revocable read-only token only.

2. How we use your information

We use the data we collect strictly to:

  • Run automated audits on the Google Ads accounts you connect
  • Surface issues, opportunities, and recommendations in the Adtunez dashboard
  • Generate PDF audit reports and white-label exports if your plan includes them
  • Send you billing receipts and important product notifications
  • Improve Adtunez (in aggregated, anonymized form only)

We never sell your data, share it with advertising networks, or use it to target you outside the Adtunez product.

3. Read-only by design

Adtunez is read-only. We connect to Google Ads with read-scope OAuth tokens only and never push changes to your campaigns, ad groups, or keywords. Every change to your Google Ads account is made by your team, in the Google Ads UI — not by us.

4. Data security

Adtunez uses industry-standard security practices to protect your data:

  • All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
  • OAuth tokens stored in encrypted form; never logged or surfaced
  • Role-based access controls for our internal team; access logged and audited
  • SOC 2 Type II audit in progress
  • Regular penetration testing and dependency vulnerability scans

5. Data retention

We retain account and audit data for the lifetime of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation, after which it's permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing privacy@adtunez.com.

6. Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

For customers subject to GDPR, CCPA, or other data-protection regimes, we offer a standard Data Processing Agreement. Email dpa@adtunez.com to request a copy. We sign DPAs with all enterprise and agency customers.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold on you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Revoke our access to your Google Ads account at any time, instantly, from your Google account security settings

8. Cookies

We use a minimal set of first-party cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels on our product pages.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. The current version is always available at this URL.
